On Thanksgiving, 50 Cent was supposed to release The Kanan Tapehe didn’t. Instead, we were left with a mediocre Lil Wayne tape, a trap-influenced Loso, and more Crack Music from Jahlil Beats.

Currently in Abu Dhabi pushing EFFEN Vodka, Curtis got on the phone with DJ Whoo Kid to offer an explanation on the delay (an accompanying short film is being finished) and reveal more details on the project. According to Fif, The Kanan Tape will now arrive the first week of December and will feature eight tracks—including “9 Shots,” “Body Bags,” and “Too Rich“—with production from London On Da Track, !llmind, Sonny Digital, and more. His beef with The Game was brought up, and from the sound of it, we can expect one of those records to ruffle a few feathers.

After The Kanan Tape arrives, 50 Cent reveals he’ll be following it up with another mixtape called Reloaded—which I’m guessing will be The Kanan Tape with bonus tracks.

Outside of the upcoming music, 50 also spoke on season three of Power and his beef with Empire, Interscope sabotaging his “My Life” single with Eminem and Adam Levine (blame SMS/Beats), and his relationship with Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine.
