Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge, known together as NxWorries, still have one of the year’s best songs with “Suede.” They’ve had an album planned together for at least half a year at this point, but it was sure to get delayed once .Paak skyrocketed into the limelight on Dr. Dre’s Compton. Tuesday, though, the duo joined Zane Lowe in the studio of Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio to premiere a new tune, “Link Up,” which will appear on their Link Up & Suede EP dropping on Friday.
You can pre-order a vinyl release for the EP via Stones Throw. The EP has six songs with no features, and the vinyl will additionally come with instrumentals for the two singles, “Suede” and “Link Up.” .Paak called into Beats 1 at the end of the three-minute song to discuss the dusty, groovy tune and his relationship with Knxwledge with Zane Lowe.
