EP and Matter Ov Fact, collectively known as The Doppelgangaz are celebrated for their very dark, gloomy music. If comic book villains employed a personal soundtrack, the Orange County, New York duo would be their first pick. If the world were to end tomorrow, any number of beats from their vastly expanding discography would be played on a non-stop loop.
If the destructive forces of Mother nature were corporeal beings – “Hark Back” would be her theme music. Okay, you catch my ramblings and where I’m going with this. The Doppelgangaz’s music is chaos and destruction in rhythmic form. And I mean that in the most positive way.
In anticipation for the release of Beats For Brothels, Vol. 3, due to arrive Dec. 18th, The Doppelgangaz reveal the first set of moving images for “H.I.T.H.” – shot in a “dark, dungy, abandoned warehouse” which obviously seemed “like the only appropriate setting.” I’d have to concur. Somewhere in the woods, Slender Man is watching from afar, nodding his head in unison.
And in case you were wondering, “H.I.T.H.” is an acronym for “Hole In the Head.”
