We follow Chicago label Closed Sessions pretty closely here at the DopeHouse and trust their ear. Currently, the roster boasts young talent Kweku Collins along with a couple producers, Odd Couple and Boathouse. Today, the label announced they’ve signed another young artist in Cleveland’s Kipp Stone.
To celebrate the signing, they unleash “Seen It All,” which features production from Boathouse. Stone tells a quasi-success story on the muddled, spacious cut as the success comes in still being alive.
“I’m the first artist from Cleveland that they have worked with and I think I bring that “ear to the street” feel that they were looking for,” the Clevelander shared with Fakeshore Drive. “I’m looking forward to Closed Sessions continuing to develop my sound and pushing me further.”
