After getting a chance to “Destroy Everything” alongside Special Teamz/La Coka Nostra member Slaine, Boston’s mean Rite Hook makes his return to the DopeHouse with a solo outing of his own.
Over Sicknature’s (of Snowgoons) bouncy boom-bap instrumental, Hook effortlessly runs through breathless verses on “The Road” – literally complimenting the beat to a tee, topped off with the, well, right hook. The Boston emcee’s delivery is very reminiscent of Big Pun’s multi-syllabic rhymes, and can very easily give any emcee a run for their money.
