With his This Thing Called Life LP dropping today, August Alsina celebrates the release with the video for one of the album’s single, “Song Cry.”
Sharing the same ideology as Jay Z, the NOLA native figures he’ll let the song be the place where his emotions come to fruition, so he takes to the desert to express them. He’s followed by rain, which at times take the form of rose petals, dancing ballerinas and a casket on fire as he let’s go of whatever guilt and shame come with fame.
