Add Timbaland to the mix of artists dropping projects on what used to be the only day the DopeHouse would have off: Decemeber 25th.

The legendary producer announced that his will release a new mixtape, King Stays King, on Christmas:

A 16-track effort, the project will feature contributions from a variety of artists: Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan (perhaps a Rich Gang reunion?), and Mila J (who will be on the lead single, “Get No Betta”). However, the biggest news – and perhaps the most anticipated track – has to be the previously-unreleased song from Aaliyah. This will be a welcomed reprieved from the Aaliyah song that was ultimately left off of T-Pain’s The Iron Way mixtape.

Timbaland says, “It’s been a while since I’ve been able to give the world some new music. I’ve spent a lot of time working on this project and I am just looking forward to giving my fans some dope sounds to close out the year.” Fans will see come Kwanzaa Eve.
