After appearing on Sway in the Morning and freestyling over a classic 2Pac beat on Thursday, ILOVEMAKONNEN dropped “Live For Real,” a song dedicated to his dog Daisy that recently passed away. The song follows the hook of “I’ll sleep when I’m dead,” causing Makonnen to “live for real.” One of the hardest parts of growing up is trying to make money and survive while living life to its fullest, but the Atlanta native has found a nice and entertaining way of doing that — making music and touring the world.
Makonnen left a little note along with the song sharing his inspiration:
