As Kendrick Lamar‘s massive 2015 comes to a close, TDE’s top dog delivers a double-video for “U” and “For Sale” titled “God Is Gangsta.”
Like his previous videos for To Pimp A Butterfly songs (“Alright,” “For Free,” “These Walls“), “God Is Gangsta” is high-quality, high-energy and cinematic. The first half has Kendrick sitting in a wine cellar with nothing but a camera, liquor and a mirror as he raps the heartbreaking “U.” The visual then transfers to the dream-like “For Sale?” where Kendrick is surrounded by his “vices” in a stone-like state.
