After releasing his debut project XXXIII back in 2013, Rikki Blu‘s world was flipped upside down—or as he puts it: “life kicked me in the dick.” Not all was lost though, as he used that time to learn more about himself, his friends, his craft, and ultimately where he’s from.
Now, to start the new year on a new wave, TheHOUSE representative resurfaces with a new project named after his hometown of Pleasant Grove, (Dallas) TX.
At five-tracks, Rikki’s Pleasant Grove EP is produced entirely by Free P, and features the previously-released gem, “Round Here” featuring Strado (who recently appeared alongside Aaliyah on Timbaland’s King Stays King mixtape) and Childish Major.
