It’s well known that Beyoncé, like JAY Z, is very calculated whenever it comes to her private life. While she will provide carefully curated glimpses in various videos, documentaries or even concerts, the thing fans love the most is when Bey is at her unguarded best: happy, spur-of-the-moment, and spontaneous.
That version of Beyoncé popped out of nowhere on Spike TV’s hit show Lip Sync Battle to help out actor Channing Tatum. See, Channing was going up against his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, who had just performed her version of Ginuwine’s “Pony.” Channing then proceeds to do “Run the World (Girls)” (in full costume and wig, natch), and – similar to when Common shocked everyone when he broke out the backspin – Bey popped out of the blue to help him out.
The true winner of this? Spike TV.
