K-Def – “Gotta Get Away” f. A.G. (of D.I.T.C.) & Damu The Fudgemunk

Venerable rap veteran K-Def has kept quite a busy schedule these past few years, with wall-to-wall projects of dope releases – while also co-handling business at Redef Records alongside partner JNOTA (what up John!).

Now, the champion producer – whose credits included everyone from A.D.O.R. to Lords of The Underground and Real Live – is ready to release his latest project, The Unpredictable Gemini on Jan. 29th through REDEF. On top of the LP’s release, Mr. Hansford is releasing The Way It Was on the same day.

To help promote the aforementioned album, K-Def enlists the help of D.I.T.C.’s A.G. and Damu The Fudgemunk for the jazzy, smooth single “Gotta Get Away” with its infectious, soulful sample.

You can pre-order The Unpredictable Gemini on split/2 tone red colored 12″ by visiting this link, with pre-orders expected to ship sometime in mid January.

Born in June like many other creative geniuses, Prince, Brian Wilson, Kanye and Pete Rock to name a few, the title and and album cover are a nod to K’s zodiac sign, Gemini.
