The largest independent rap act ever, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, have announced their new album, This Unruly Mess I’ve Made. The album will drop February 26.

The duo announced the album via a three-minute long video, in which he described the process the album came to fruition. It seems, very Bon Iver-like, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis packed up their equipment and headed to a cabin in the woods to let their minds create.

The duo first returned last year following a small hiatus after The Heist with “Growing Up (Sloane’s Song),” a song dedicated to Macklemore’s new-born child. They followed with the radio-ready “Downtown” before debuting “Kevin,” a song dealing with drug addiction and corporate America, at the American Music Awards. There’s no word whether all or any of these songs will wind up on This Unruly Mess I’ve Made.
