Premiered by The FADER, Nasty Nigel of World’s Fair told the magazine the two collectives worked together in Atlanta for a weekend. “We bonded over local hood staples like American Deli and Zaxby’s while jumping in and out the booth recreating the moods and convos of our duration there in audible form,” Nigel said.
The first World’s Fair song, “Bout It,” was produced by DJ FU while Jace and Cartier Dave of Two-9 lend their vocals to the track. “5 Mics” has Childish Major and Jace alongside the New York collective. It seems over the two tracks, they tried to catch the overall sound of both New York (“5 Mics”) and Atlanta (“Bout It”). Made in just a weekend, both crews showed a great chemistry across two high-quality songs.
