Here’s a relatively humorous Musiq Soulchild anecdote I was told a few years ago. Back when “Just Friends (Sunny)” became a Billboard Hot 100 mainstay in 2000, a guy used the lyrics – word for word – to hit on a woman, and it allegedly worked in spades. I’m not saying he was lying, because this was in the year 2000 when Internet access was relatively limited to community college libraries and rich families, but I’m not saying I believe it as well.
Anyways, Musiq will release his seventh solo album, Life On Earth, on April 8th, and he returns with a potential wedding anthem in the form of “I Do.” Something tells me that a groom will use this as his vows…
