Layla Hendryx is one to get familiar with. The Toronto-bred OVO-approved Somali singer/songwriter debuted her brand new mixtape, Out Of Time, earlier this week. The 11-track offering features her gritty visual for last year’s “B.T.W.” along with collaborations from a number of newcomers including Ca$tro Guapo, Huey, Hooks, Nessly, and more.
“Each song represents a different view on a situation I’ve witnessed or been though,” explained Hendryx to TheFADER on Out Of Time. “I dug deeper to try and talk about a lot of things in my life, such as, family friends, relationships, etc.”
