Rome Fortune – “Love”

blame it on Patrick Glynn January 28, 2016

Rome Fortune weaved his way through an interesting and rocky 2015. Starting with a short bid in jail, the ATL native regained his footing with the loloU mixtape with CeeJ and later joined with the likes of D.R.A.M. and Kaytranada on his way to fresher starts. This year, Rome is off to a much smoother start as we get “Love,” a single off his upcoming album, Jerome Raheem Fortune, which is set to drop February 26.

Opening up about his struggling relationship with family (and more specifically, his kid), Rome uses the Cubby-produced “Love” to share his regrets and explanations in a heartfelt and hopeful environment. Though he wasn’t there for his kids first steps, the ATL rapper hopes he can be there for future milestones — he just has to make the money to support her first.
