Following his last solo effort, 2009’s Tytanium, which came under fire by most critics upon its release, Sonny Seeza – best known as Suavé and/or Sonsee – former member of ONYX is ready to reset the order of things with his upcoming project, Bridges.
Despite being the “laughingstock” on certain rap forums, the familiar voice of the roughneck powerhouse group isn’t ready to be erased from the history books, and on his new single, “Everywhere,” he’s showing and proving that the metonymic phrase “the pen is mightier than the sword” still holds weight.
Over DJ Def Cut’s boom-bap production (and a very familiar sample), Sonny demonstrates that he can still manifest incredible bars worthy of pressing that mighty rewind button.
