Not much is known about Majid Jordan — the songwriting duo signed to Drake’s OVO Sound imprint. They’re set to release their self-titled debut LP on Friday, and to help the world better understand Majid Al Mastaki and Jordan Ullman, the hopped on Ebro in the Morning for one of their first radio interviews ever.
Given the fact they haven’t been able to speak much since we first heard them on Drake “Hold On (We’re Going Home),” the duo had plenty of fresh stories and information for the world. The interview started with how they met Drake (through his producer 40, who found them through SoundCloud) and transitioned to how their first single came about, singing to OVO Sound, discussing their upcoming album and more.
At the very least, this interview added a whole bunch of depth to the duo and to the inner workings of Drake and OVO Sound.
