Gallant, an up-and-coming singer from Atlanta, teams with Jhené Aiko for a soothing tune, “Skipping Stones,” released via Red Bull Sound Select and premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show.

The duet has the two singers taking a lonely approach to love. Both Gallant and Jhené preach waiting to find the right one before committing full time to a relationship. “Skipping Stones,” has a youthful love feel to it — the light vocals, the act of skipping stones while thinking about a relationship, the playful production (done by Adrian Younge and Stint). “Find me skipping stones in water brooks, holding out for something I can’t force,” the two question, ultimately settling on solitude.

“Skipping Stones” is going to be released along with “Borderline,” a collaboration James Fauntleroy also done with Red Bull Sound Select, as a two-song digital drop. Stream the duet below.
