Anna Wise, the lead singer of SonnyMoon and frequent collaborator with Kendrick Lamar, is set to drop a solo EP sometime in 2016, and today, we get the first sampling of the project with the calming and deeply intimate “Precious Possession.”
Wise’s airy vocals are featured over the spacious and electronically teasing production, as she gives herself up to a man to become his “precious possession.” Though she’s got plenty of money and fame, she still wants to go home to someone who will treat her as a crown jewel — as she should be.
