With Cook’s dense lyricism backed by Statik’s soulful boom bap, the album is another great one artist-one producer setup from the Slaughterhouse camp, follow Royce Da 5’9″ and DJ Premier’s PRhyme.
Statik KXNG follow up the release of their new album with the video for “I Hear Voices,” which is directed by Justin Fleischer. The video is just another display of the incredible cohesion between the two, and is another reminder that a rapper from the West and a producer from the East can get together to create music that’s universally acceptable.
