This time last year, when Kanye West was debuting Yeezy Season 2 and appearing on the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Live, a new song “Wolves” was the talk of the Internet. The song featured Sia and Vic Mensa, and over the year of the confusing rollout of Kanye’s The Life of Pablo, “Wolves” was always held as one of the more anticipated songs because we’d finally recieve a CDQ version.

Once “Wolves” was debuted at Madison Square Garden, it had no Sia or Vic Mensa. Instead, Kanye found Frank Ocean and had him do the outro to the song. It seems now, though, a version featuring all three artists plus Kanye has surfaced. If I had any guess, someone impressively blended the highest quality sounding version of the old “Wolves” together with the album version. However, this still sounds incredible. Frank Ocean begins the song instead of ending it, Kanye’s verse is scrapped, and Vic and Sia are wonderfully added to the mix.

This isn’t an official release, but you can listen below.

UPDATE: Earlier Wednesday, Chance the Rapper shared a short video of a version of “Waves” — the song that “delayed” the album a couple days — that has him singing along to the tune. After “Wolves” and this, along with all the people we KNOW were in the studio with Kanye, I’m sure this won’t be the last of the alternate versions we hear.
