Strip clubs. We know about them, many of us have visited them, and some of us have even survived them without spending any money in there. Although Pimp C passed nearly nine years ago, the influence he held over the urban strip club world has remained more relevant than ever.
Mass Appeal Records celebrated the memory of Chad Butler with the posthumous Long Live The Pimp, and although the two didn’t work together while he was alive some of Pimp’s verses were joined with Lil Wayne for the single “3 Way Freak.” The video actually has Pimp inviting a lovely young working lady into the decadently hedonistic world of the Houston’s nudie bar. Sparkly bottles, tattooed bodies wrapped around thongs and the poles are all on the menu of this Lux & D Reck-reared clip. While Pimp isn’t here with rap, he is still everywhere with rap.
