New Zealand producer Race Banyon is joined by Ty Dolla $ign and DJ Dahi for “What Are We Doing,” a song curated and released via Red Bull Sound Select.
Over the song’s three-and-a-half minutes, “What Are We Doing” never really reaches a climax, similar to the relationship Ty$ finds himself in. He questions what he and his lover are doing when whatever is happening between the two clearly isn’t working (especially when Ty$ self-loathing gets in the way).
Race Banyon offered some praised toward Ty Dolla and Dahi when speaking to The FADER, who premiered the single:
“DJ Dahi and Ty Dolla $ign are two of the most hard working and creative people I’ve ever met. It was a real honour to watch them work and create something with them.”
