At the top of the month, Sylvan LaCue returned to the DopeHouse with his first release of 2016: “Fall From Grace,” the first single off his upcoming full-length, Far From Familiar.
Now, with the album looking at a spring release, LaCue reflects on the time he spent with a PYT from Oakland—the same lovely lady that helped inspire the Miami native’s EVANGELINE EP—with “Emeryville.”
Slapping fear in the face, LaCue lays all his cards on the table as he battles “the struggle to admit that you want to belong to someone who’s struggling to admit that they want to belong to you too.”
