Those who watched the first episode of VICELAND‘s new series, NOISEY: Bompton, noticed that a rather significant part of camera time was focused on one of the best friends of Kendrick Lamar, Lil L. L, who is an aspiring musician in his own right, is now the focal point of the second of the six-part series.
While delving into some of his background in part one, part two introduces viewers to L’s version of Compton. Viewers meet his grandmother, a Louisiana transplant who has lived in the city of Los Angeles since the 70s (she was a witness to the infamous Leonard Deadwyler case of 1966. L also reveals his motivations for wanting to enter the world of rap music, before taking the host to a studio session for a song which — admittedly — if pushed right could become a potential staple in the West Coast scene.
UPDATE: Watch part three, featuring Hitta J3.
