I first discovered Jack Garratt at the beginning of 2015. My friend sent me a video of the British singer and producer performing his song “The Love You’re Given” for Vevo’s Youtube account, and I couldn’t stop watching it the rest of the night. The explosive instrumental played live from multiple instruments paired with the on-time and decent singing is more seven minutes of your time over and over again.

Over the course of 2015, Garratt released his Synesthesaic EP along with a couple singles, including “Weathered” and “Worry,” that only built my personal hype surrounding the Brit’s full-length LP, Phase. That project is now here standing at 12 songs, many of which we’ve heard already. Outside of the aforementioned, “Breathe Life,” “Chemical,” “Surprise Yourself” and “Fire” made their way onto the tracklist alongside a couple new cuts.

Garratt is such a talented multi-instrumentalist and singer who will be around making noise for years, so get yourself ahead of the game and stream Phase below. Download the album on iTunes.
