I have to admit, I personally had to flip that unfollow switch on Kanye’s Twitter account, literally days hours after TLOP dropped. It’s like reading a ticking time bomb into the making of a nutcase. Do I enjoy his music? Sure. I also have to agree with Andreas Hale’s sentiments that TLOP was utterly confusing, at best.
I digress. Just a few days ago, ‘Ye, through a barrage of his random “streams of consciousness” — vaguely tweeted plans to release a new album this summer.
New album coming this summer

Following that lone tweet, Yeezy continued spewing off his tirade until last night, when he disclosed the title of the upcoming album.
My next album is titled "Turbo Grafx 16" as of now…

just on some super nerd vibes… one of my favorite gaming systems when I was a kid…

As some of you old enough may know, the name alludes to the Japanese-made, short-lived video gaming console, released in the late 80s. Because, Kanye is on some “super nerd vibes” right now.
Whether this name sticks up until the album’s release will remain a mystery. After all, if these past couple of years have shown us, ‘Ye doesn’t have the best track record with sticking with album titles. So Help Me God to SWISH to WAVES to The Life of Pablo? Then again, he is the “Closest Thing To Einstein.”
