Chaz Bundick, better known in the music world as Toro y Moi, consistently operates in a rather reserved world. Today, though, a new mini-documentary has the South Carolina-born producer and signer opening up about his music-making process in a day-in-the-life type film, Chaz: In Parts.

Throughout the mini-doc, Bundick details his beginnings as a musician through high school and college before finally deciding to focus on music after not getting calls back from graphic design companies he applied to. Between all the home footage, the root of the doc surrounds the making of “The Flight” from 2015’s What For? and the recording of the layers of sounds in the song.
