I always ask this whenever I see his name, but that’s because I’m genuinely curious: is Red Cafe still signed and/or affiliated with Bad Boy Records? I feel that, despite being visually absent from Puff Daddy’s MMM (Money Makin’ Mitch) project, he may have (read: likely) contributed to it (read: ghost-written for Puff). However, I rarely see anything about his Bad Boy ties save for a cursory Wikipedia search.
Nonetheless, Cafe has returned with a new mixtape, Dope God. Coming in at 17 tracks, the project features the likes of Yo Gotti, E-40, Jeremih, Rick Ross, Jim Jones, and others. I won’t get that question answered this time, so I’ll continue to inquire about it until so. In the meantime, listen to and download Dope God below.
