As he continues to prepare his major label debut, Tory Lanez recently re-kickstarted his weekly Fargo Fridays series. Following the first offering from the so-far-untitled LP, “LA Confidential,” as well as his version of “Uber Everywhere,” the Canadian artist lets loose “Tim Duncan,” which actually isn’t an ode to the future NBA Hall Of Famer.

While the song is definitely a bit harder than his previous two entries, the sing-songy flows still remain albeit over a trap-esque backdrop. Perhaps this is his new “sound,” which is ironically similar to Travi$ (in my opinion), but if La Flame used it to propel his career there is no reason why Tory shouldn’t.
