Montana of 300 – “Land Of The Dark” (Video)

blame it on Shake March 8, 2016

Picking up where his “White Iverson/Milly Rock” remix left off, Montana of 300 is back with another double dose of dope’ness.

With his new album Fire In The Church on the way, the Chicago native lets loose the project’s first single/visual, “Land Of The Dark.” Infectious as hell thanks to a melodic auto-tuned hook, Montana drags the track through the dirt with some gritty rhymes about emerging from the shadows of his hometown—a place where he had to “learn to swim where the sharks at.”

Fire In The Church is basically the bad within the good.” Montana told Noisey. “No sugar coating, the good within the bad, and it also kind of represents my following and how I built my fanbase—word of mouth. If it’s a fire in the church, somebody’s running out of the church saying, ‘it’s a fire in the church!’ People that hear me, is like, ‘you gotta listen to this dude.’ It’s something urgent in that extreme.

Fire In The Church arrives May 6th. Until then, check out the official video for “Land Of The Dark”—shot by A Zay Production, of course—above.

As a bonus, Montana is joined by his partner-in-rhyme Tally of 300 for “Mf’s Mad pt.2″—a sequel to a standout track from their collaborative Gunz N Roses mixtape.
