DopeHouse favorite Daye Jack is currently touring the United States with PELL, and while the throes of tour life may bog an artist down, the Atlanta-bred artist sees hopefulness and motivation with his latest tune, “Finish Line.”
Led by a funky, synthesized bassline, Daye Jack delivers his brightest and forward-looking song yet with “Finish Line.” Contrasting the easy-going vibes of “Easy,” his latest cut encourages the listener to get on up and finish whatever task may be on hand. While the lyrics waver on the side of generic, the overall mood makes “Finish Line” worthwhile.
