Jake One Drops A ‘#PrayerHandsEmoji’ Beat Tape

Producer Jake One has been one of hip hop’s most revered beatmakers in recent memory, easily jumping in and out of independent (De La Soul’s “Rock Co.Kane Flow”) to the mainstream (Rick Ross’ “3 Kings”) with ease. The Seattle-based maestro has now teamed with Rappers I Know to release a new instrumental project, literally titled ‘#PrayerHandsEmoji.’

Also called #PrayerHandsEmoji, the project has Jake taking various gospel samples and morphing them into hard-hitting, soulful backdrops over the course of 24 tracks. Per usual, struggle rappers should be banned from trying their hands at these beats. Stream the entire thing below.
