Black Milk last released an album in 2014, with If There’s a Hell Below. Since then, he’s spent a considerable amount of time on the road and producing for the likes of Kenn Starr, Skyzoo and Torae. However, he will return with an all-new project next month.
Teaming with his backing band Nat Turner, they will release a new instrumental project titled The Rebellion Sessions on April 4th. Milk describes the project as a fusion of jazz and funk from a hip hop perspective. As such, he has let loose a song that won’t be on the album, “The Rebel,” but must be heard regardless.
