The name Sosamann may not be too familiar with people who aren’t hip to certain aspects of Southern-reared rap music. However his roots can be traced back to Houston’s The Sauce Factory, home to the Sauce Twinz of the inescapably catchy “2 Legited 2 Quited” (whose member Sauce Walka chided Drake on his “Wack 2 Wack” diss song).
Sosamann has released a new mixtape, Sauce Eskobar, in which he has collaborated with the likes of Young Dolph, the Sauce Twinz, Sledgren, and others. Speaking of the Taylor Gang, he’s teamed with Wiz Khalifa to harmonize on the tape’s first single “Not The Vine,” which can be heard below.
