Australian beatmaker Ta-ku delivers his first offering of 2016, “You&I,” which is the first single off an upcoming collaboration from brrwd love, a “creative label” started between the producer and photographer Repeat Pattern. The project, brrwd love volume one, is set to drop via Jakarta Records on March 25.

The project is described as “a carefully curated selection of images and dirty loops,” and “You&I” follow suit. Ta-ku chops up a sample repeating the phrase “you and I” and loops it over a selection of slow-tempo, boom bap-influenced drums over the course of the two minutes.

Stream “You&I,” and pre-order the compilation, along with a 10-inch vinyl, on Bandcamp.
