A few days ago, ABM Records — co-founded by the late Sparx — released a posthumous project of material from the Pennsylvania-born emcee. Aptly titled The Vault, the project was, in some ways, a collaboration between the indie label and the Brown Bag AllStars, whom Sparx was a huge fan of.
Co-founder Adam Barnard pulled the right strings to make the album happen, including its contributors Soul Khan, Koncept and J57.
Press play/download “Just Begun,” a posse cut featuring Kirswords, Soul Kon, Aayu, Joe Swisher, Enrichment and production from Izik.
Listen to a bonus cut, “The Closure” featuring Sparx’s brother CAMDOE (“who hasnt rapped in 12 years but picked up the mic for this track as a tribute / eulogy for his brother”) and production from J57.
