Louisana native Froyo Ma typically stops by the DopeHouse solely with his producer chops on full display, laying soothing and ambient sounds to match his “hot” or love-induced moods. And then occasionally, he delivers a vocal performance, like when he’s trying to escape from an evil queen with J’Von. Today, he combines those talents on a new demo, “In The Sea,” which is as aquatic as the name indicates.
Released because he “lost the project file for this so ill never finish it,” Froyo contemplates what will happen when the “world falls down in the sea.” As the guitar sounds like it’s rippling through the ocean, Froyo’s words sound as if his part of the world has already begun falling down into the sea, with his voice soothing as much as it seems like it’s drowning.
