The (former Kid) Daytona is planning a return to the scene with a new project slated to be released during the warmer months of 2016. And, as he is signed to Harry Fraud‘s SRFSCHL Recordings, he is apt to receive one of La Musica’s harder-hitting backdrops a bit quicker than everyone else.

Such is the case with their latest, “Because Liquor & Drugs.” First things first: the song samples Toto’s 1982 hit “Africa” (that’s already a bonus in my book). Second, the hook is perfect for whenever someone is literally blitzed off of whatever intoxicant is their choice of vice. Daytona has been on a roll lately, and this is a more-than-worthy follow-up to his previous offering “BOY.”
