Today, the eclectic video for that remix as landed —or better yet, ascended into the outer realms of the universe, a.k.a. the only space where funk can truly live.
After a man’s car broke down, conveniently in the middle of nowhere, a ship manned with Kendrick Lamar as the captain swoops down and takes him to a world where the funk actually ain’t that kinda hard on people — it’s a lifestyle. It’s all a party, and it’s awesome to see influences from three generations of music be together and prosper like this.
