Lil Wayne: rapper, skateboarder, Wesley Snipes’ best friend. But in 2006 he was staking a claim to another title: that of the Best Rapper Alive. He backed up that lofty declaration with the release of Tha Carter III in 2008, which went platinum in a week. However, several tracks did not make the album and was subsequently leaked prior to being finished: “Cry Out (Amen)” and “Trouble.”

Producer Streetrunner has now revealed another song from those sessions, “Let’s Talk It Over,” in its full and mastered format. Originally recorded in 2006, the song flips the same sample utilized to greatness in Young Jeezy’s “I Do.” Now fans can enjoy it as it was meant to be.
