The legendary, witty and utterly hilarious J-Zone revealed his plans to release his sixth solo outing, Fish-n-Grits on April 1st. Along with the announcement, the self-proclaimed “jack of all trades, master of none” also gifted fans with the project’s first offering, “Go Back to Selling Weed” — proof that the 45 wax connoisseur’s pen game is still vicious.

In a new behind-the-scenes video, J gives a quick history on what inspired Fish-n-Grits and explains that he picked up live drumming “as a late bloomer… in 2012″ and incorporating it into his music, as well as the concept behind releasing it on two, limited edition 7” singles.

As if that wasn’t enough, Swagmaster Bacon has collaborated with Prince Paul and Sacha Jenkins for an upcoming project under the guise of SuperBlack! Listen to the first single, “White Privilege” here.
