It’s only March of 2016, and already Puff Daddy is planning to release one of the biggest projects of the year.

Puffy — née Sean Combs — announced that he will be the founder of a new school in his hometown of Harlem, NY: the Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School, which is slated to open in the fall of this year. Dr. Steve Perry, founder and former principal of the Capital Prep Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut, will be hired to oversee the school, while Florida-based educator Danita Jones as the principal of Capital Prep Harlem.

Combs says via statement, “Creating this school is a dream come true for me. I want to impact the lives of young people in my community, and build future leaders. The first step is offering access to a quality education. Every young person should have the tools they need to succeed. All our children should be able to pursue their dreams. That is something I can impact with this school.”

Parents and children can apply for enrollment at the free school now at the Capital Prep website, for the 2016-17 school year.
