OG Maco and Harry Fraud: being honest, that is not a combination that I thought about seeing. However, with Maco’s forthcoming project 7FRVR on the horizon, the two connect to be a new single in the form of “So Simple.”
Backed by some ominously ethereal production from La Musica, Maco croons about missing the good ol’ days, frequently repeating “it used to be all so simple” throughout. The unexpected collaboration works, however: Maco puts his frenetic rapping to the left for some singing, Harry puts his boom-bap and soul-fused beats to the right for something more emotional. I could get used to this.
