I would like to believe that Musiq Soulchild is one of the most underrated singers in the genre of R&B. While he is in fact a platinum-/gold-earning and award-winning musician, he tends to be overlooked in comparison to some of his contemporaries. Well, hopefully that will change with his forthcoming eighth album Life on Earth.
Arriving April 15th, Earth has been propelled by the excellent singles “Heart Away” and the future wedding song “I Do.” He has now revealed the third single, “Alive And Well,” which continues his current winning streak. The song’s message is quite clear: be happy, no matter what. That is something we can all relate to.
