The song is all about society’s habit to live through their phone rather than living in the moment, and the Chicago native visualizes that through showcasing all the things he’s missing while looking at Twitter, fantasy football scores and Snapchat.
There’s Mario and Road Runner (??) playing on a seesaw. His friends, whom he mistakes for Questlove, roaming the park and a slew of people dressed in costumes parading behind him. But it all goes unnoticed in the name of checking Dart Adams’ Twitter feed. (Can’t say I blame him there, though.)
