Another day, another festival lineup announcement.
In all honesty, I actually like hearing about the lineups for many of these mega-concerts I likely will not be attending myself. Why? Because they mark the unofficial return of longer days, pleasant nights, and — most important to me — that I don’t have to worry about or even look into my thick jackets closet for the next few months. While I admit that I prefer having one consistent stream of decent-to-hot temperatures like Los Angeles, there are many other reasons why I live in and prefer to stay in New York.
Because of this, however, there’s a high chance that I won’t make the Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival in San Francisco, CA. Taking place August 5th-7th at Golden Gate Park, the Bay Area concert will bring out a plethora of performers, including:

- Big Grams
- J. Cole
- Kehlani
- Jidenna
- Anderson .Paak (with the Free Nationals)
- Hiatus Kaiyote
- Major Lazer
- Lionel Richie
- Lana Del Rey
- Miguel
- Vince Staples
I mean, they already had me at mini-golf, but then they throw Lionel Richie — a person who is on my bucket list of musicians I have to see perform — in the mix? Tickets go on sale April 7th on the Outside Lands website.
