Donald Glover (a.k.a Childish Gambino) has been pretty silent over the last year and a half since delivering his STN MTN/Kauai mixtape at the end of 2014. We do know, though, his sitcom Atlanta, based on the rap scene and growing up in said city, is set to debut this summer, so hopefully he pops up a little more for promotion purposes.

Donald recently appeared on Arkansas rapper Kari Faux’s LELA Project, where she interviews various artists, actors, comedians and people alike living in Los Angeles who moved to the city for business purposes. She paired it with an 11-track project called Lost En Los Angeles, delving into her experiences of living in the large city. In Donald’s interview, he discussed the differences between living in Atlanta and Los Angeles, namely the sense of “status” ridden throughout L.A.

Head to Kari’s website to listen to the interview along with 10 other conversations with artists living in the city, and pre-order Lost En Los Angeles, which arrives on iTunes tonight.
